Steven Lynn Carter June 24, 1982 - June 10, 2015

"If love could have saved you, YOU would have lived forever. "

Salt Lake City-Carter was full of life, humility and integrity. Although, he left this life on Earth far too soon, he will be remembered for the inspiration he was to so many. He had such a unique ability to bring out the best in everyone. Carter passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and the love of his life, Annie.

He will be greatly missed as he was always there for his family and friends in so many ways. He loved outdoor adventures, cycling, skiing, camping, rock climbing, and being with his family. As a dedicated cyclist, he completed LoToJa twice. Carter earned his ten year belt buckle and cherished working with his grandfather to organize the Days of 47 Parade. He was survived by his father and mother Bill and Jodie Carter, his brother Randon (Brooke & Sylas), sister Chanel, his devoted girlfriend Annie Tunbridge, Aunt Jackie Tripp, Uncle Robert Patience, grandparents Nanette Leetham, Keith and Saundra Tripp, extended family and many, many friends.

Memorial services will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S., Sandy, UT on Monday June 15th between 4 and 6 PM. The family would also like to invite everyone to a celebration of Carter's life at Club Habits 832 E. 3900 S. on Tuesday June 16th at 7:00 PM. Because Carter was so appreciative of the Fair Haven Foundation during his stay in Indiana; it was his wish, in lieu of flowers, to donate to: fairhavenfoundation.com. For condolences, please visit www.Larkincares.com.

A special thanks to The Huntsman Cancer Institute & The Simon Cancer Center in Indiana. Carter, while you may no longer be with us physically, the legacy of your determination and never give up attitude will live forever!
